MOD-t 3D Printer- I had to toss this one onto the list. It’s a cool high-end gift. My children and I were in awe watching this new age machine work but explaining how it works leaves me a little speechless. From your computer, you can choose an object for the machine to make. Once you select an object to “make/print,” it then begins the process. Be careful though about what you let your children select, the printing takes tons of time and electricity. One incredibly detailed cube too a full 24 hours to print. WOW! Nevertheless, the final result as amazing! Designed to be showcased in the home and engineered for simplicity and reliability.
